As a Purchasing Specialist, your role will involve developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies, evaluating and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts,  identifying cost-saving opportunities and maintaining accurate records.

What You’ll Do

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies

  • Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery times

  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms

  • Preparing and processing purchase orders and tracking their progress until delivery

  • Monitoring stock levels and determining optimal order quantities and reorder points

  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials and services

  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information

  • Staying informed about market trends and changes that may impact supply and demand

Who You are

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechatronics, or a related field

  • 2+ years of work experience in technical procurement or a similar role

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, market research, and supplier evaluation

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (odoo, Excel)

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Fluency in English and German

  • Minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement "Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte des Metallgewerbes". Overpayment in line with the market, depending on your experience and qualifications, is offered.
